Iowa was rated as the NUMBER 1 state for hunting pheasants for the past several years. Most groups booked with us report 4-5 "shootable" (15+ birds) covey's of quail per day. Each group has approximately 1,000 acres per day assigned for their groups hunt only. After each property is hunted by a group, they are rested (not hunted) for a minimum of 3 days. This has been a main factor to our sucess, in that, the birds are rested and will subsequently be less "skidish". We also have professional guides with pointing dogs available upon request. These guides not only have superb dogs and equipment, but have worked our properties for the past 12 years. Included in your basic hunt are; your bed, shower, an entertainment area, storage facities, out-buildings for your dogs, and a hearty breakfast to get you started into your days hunt.
